All applicants to Illinois School of Health Careers must be at least 17 years old. The School admits applicants who submit a diploma, certificate or other proof of graduation from an institution providing secondary education or the relevant equivalent of such graduation, e.g. GED certificate.
For students enrolled in an allied health program, a statement of general health signed by the student must be submitted to the school. Students in the Medical Assistant and PCT programs must have Hepatitis B series inoculations and a Tuberculosis test.
All of the above requirements must be satisfied within the first 30 days of the class start.
