About Us

Mission Statement

Illinois School of Health Careers mission is to provide quality educational and training opportunities to those individuals seeking the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the allied health or computer professions.

Objectives

Illinois School of Health Careers provides a climate that emphasizes individual worth, human dignity and the value of work, responsibility and achievement. To support our objective, we pledge:

  • To select a faculty that is competent and dedicated.
  • To continually evaluate and update programs.
  • To provide facilities and equipment that supports the educational objectives and the specific programs.

History

Illinois School of Health Careers (ISHC) was first established in 1990. Illinois School of Health Careers, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of ForeFront Education Inc., which acquired the school in July 2003.

ISHC is approved to operate by the Illinois State Board of Education, a member of Career College Association and American Massage Therapy Association, as well as an authorized provider of health education through the American Red Cross. ISHC is institutionally (non-degree) accredited by:

Faculty

The faculty at Illinois School of Health Careers are experts in their field of instruction. Many are health care professionals. With their practical experience, Illinois School instructors can give students first hand training in the classroom.
